東京下町生まれ。14歳の時にNYのグラフィティカルチャーに衝撃を受け、そこから絵を描き始める。24歳でNYへ渡り、バイクメッセンジャーをしながらアートスクールに通う。2006年に帰国しペインティング、シルクスクリーンプリント、コラージュ作品の制作を中心に活動。亀戸アートセンター運営。

Born in Tokyo, Japan. Inspired by a wide variety of sources ranging from New York graffiti culture to Japanese manga, Takuma Ishibe began painting at the age of 14. When he turned 24, he left Japan for New York City where he worked as a bike messenger during the day while attending the National Academy School of Art at night. Now, back in Tokyo, he continues to produce art with a strong focus on painting, silk screen printing and collage. He is running an art gallery Kameido Art Center with Chappy in Tokyo.
